"Your willingness to share intimate details of your own life journey made the day's conversations even more impactful. Suffice it to say, none of us will forget your time on campus!"
Dear Mr. Yaeger,
The purpose of this letter is to thank you for your efforts on behalf of West Point's Black & Gold Leadership Forum and the Academy's Basketball programs. The cadets and faculty members are extremely appreciative of your having taken the time to engage us in a very personal way. Numerous cadets have commented on the power of your message and extraordinary storytelling ability. The cogent distillation of leadership tenets, gleaned from observing a wide array of leaders over the years, provided everyone some tangible takeaways and reflection opportunities. On a personal note, your willingness to share intimate details of your own life journey made the day's conversations even more impactful. Suffice it to say, none of us will ever forget your time on campus!
Our Nation depends on growing a competent cadre of future leaders for its sustained success. At West Point, we are privileged to play a role in developing such leaders. Thank you once again for your efforts on behalf of Academy and its mission. Your willingness to assist others serves as a worthy exemplar for our cadets.
We look forward to your next visit to West Point. Please let us know if we may ever be of assistance in your endeavors.
Best wishes and continued success,
Bernard B. Banks
