Zoom Fatigue? Here’s How To Avoid Becoming Lunch For The Competition

Zoom Fatigue? Here’s How To Avoid Becoming Lunch For The Competition

Call it a hunch but I imagine as you begin this new “work week,” many of you are familiar with this kind of morning ritual: Wake up… Get dressed from the waist up… Then sit and Zoom through a morning meeting mocked by the need for an extra cup of coffee. Let’s face it, our lives have resembled a 2020 version of the movie Groundhog’s Day where the role of Bill Murray has been replaced by the swivel chair in our home office, and the redundancy of a daily commute from the bedroom to a converted guest room. Every Win Is Worth So Much More: How To Deal With The Pressure Of A Shortened Season

More than 4-million people savored the chance Thursday to watch live sports as Major League Baseball’s opening night of a coronavirus-condensed season quickly became the most-watched baseball telecast in the last nine years. In fact, it’s been so long since I watched sports, I will need to retrain my fingers to find ESPN on the TV remote. But as we enthusiastically hope for the chance to fill up the stadiums and arenas again without the trusty masks and gloves, we must make sure we’re doing the right thing. We must make sure that our enthusiasm isn’t merely impatience.

Open Up To Learn Lessons: How You Can Help When The Times Are Turbulent

Most of my Sunday mornings consist of family, faith, and reflection – there’s occasionally a morning car ride to pick up brunch for my wife and kids. But, this time, when I pulled back into the driveway and parked the car at my own home, I couldn’t leave the driver’s seat. Sports talk radio is my guilty pleasure and this particular Sunday morning featured an interview with a college basketball coach named LeVelle Moton. The 45-year-old has won 207 games in 11 seasons as head coach at North Carolina Central University—they’ve won their last 3 conference tournament titles.
